Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

self representation

I have had to release my attorney for an appeal of a criminal conviction. He is formally being released from representation of me by the Appellate court tomorrow. What do I need to do to ask for self representation? (I applied for a court appointed attorney and was denied based on income, even though I fall well into the indigence category, by the judge who's misconduct I am appealing)

Re: self representation

appeals are extremely complicated in that there are many procedural rules that must be followed. There are many attorneys I know that won't do them for that reason. I would strongly recommend that you try to find a lawyer. If you insist on representing yourself, try writing a letter to the court making that request. Or file a notice of appearance of counsel with the Court naming yourself.
