Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
I am a new resident to the state of florida. i moved here from ohio. On my record i have a misdemeanor for drug abuse that happened almost 6 years ago. (12/3/2009) that is the only thing that is on my record. never been in trouble besides that. everytime i try to gain employment with a company their applications specify "do u have any prior felonies?" and i say no, which i don't. Then the employer does a background check on me before i start working with them and this shows up and automatically disqualifies me from gaining employment. i would like to know what the steps I would have to exponge this off my personal record?

It is possible that you can get this expunged. I would need more information to tell you for sure. Please feel free to contact for a free phone consult. Ed DiCato
