Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

restraining

My daughter is 18.will be a high school senion in the fall.

she has learning dissabilties and a low IQ.but she can drive and had a part time job an has grown up middle class

She stayed out all night 2 times this summer.WE took her car away(car is in her mothers name) from her we took her to work.She has a boyfriend 19(also lost her job because he threated a employee at he store)

who has had a tough life.and is a low life.he has no job .lives with friends and has ''tried to kill himself'' has many razor cuts on his arms .he lives in a bad neighbor hood and has no transportation. A ''woman friend'' app 50yrs old is his transportation to meet my daughter or

will pick up my daughter to meet him he has been told not to be in our home.

Question

the boyfriends woman friend and transportation.can we stop her from transportaing my daughter or being close to our home in some way?

Because your daughter is no longer a minor, she would have to request the restraint herself. Furthermore, for a civil protection order to be granted, it must be shown that the respondent (50 yr old) is somehow a danger to the petitioner (daughter). You should speak with this woman and tell her that you do not want her to have any association with your daughter. Find out her name and look her up with your local court to see if she has any warrants. Reporting her to the authorites on a warrant may deter her from your daughter.
