Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Sentenced Special Circumstances
I know someone who has been sentenced to six months for a crime, but he suffers from many medical conditions including bi-polar, depression. He's also very shy and skinny. I was wondering if there are any special circumstances we could ask the Judge to be applied to someone whos in his situation once he is incarcerated?

Re: Sentenced Special Circumstances
Judges in California have very little control over how inmates they sentence are housed and otherwise treated. You should take up your concerns with the jail, but you should not expect too much. Despite the title of your post, the circumstances you list are not particularly special. Many inmates have the characteristics you discribe and do not receive special treatment.
