Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Trying to settle a sentence from another State

While I was living in Ohio in 2000 I got sentenced to $100 and 100 hours community service. The court never contacted me for the community service, and I (like an idiot) never followed up with the court. I want to settle this but in 2001 I moved to maryland. Sending the money would be no problem, but how do I setlled the community service.

Thanks,

You or an attorney in Ohio need to contact the court to have the performance of community service transferred to Maryland.

You should have paid the fine by now and this does not bode well in your favor for the court to grant the above request.

If you violated probation you may have a larger problem.
