Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Former felons -- including those committed of sex offenses -- have most of the same rights the rest of us have. In most jurisdictions, if they committed felonies (some sex offenses are misdemeanors), they can no longer vote or own guns. They generally have to register as sex offenders. Depending upon what type of crime they were convicted of, there may be limits on where they can live and/or work. An offender who is on parole or probation when released will have other restrictions temporarily. But they still have the right to free speech, free exercise of religion, etc. They have a right to due process if they are brought back into court, and have the right to a trial by jury in future criminal cases. It would take a very long time to list all of the rights they retain. Is there a specific right you have in mind?
