It depends on the type of case you have. You probably were not charged with sexual assault but rather a similar sexual offense. The following is a list of sexual offenses that are similar to sexual assault. (1) Rape (F-1) with carries a sentence between 3-10 years; (2) Sexual Battery (F-3) which is 1-5 years; (3) Unlawful sexual conduct with a minor (F-4) which is 6-18 months; (4) Gross Sexual Imposition (F-4) which is 6-18 months; (5) Sexual Imposition (M-3) which is up to 60 days; or (6) Importuning (F-3) which is 1-5 years.
