Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Sexual Battery

I know of someone who was just charged with sexual battery with a minor. Exactly what is sexual battery? Is it penetration or oral sex or contact? The attorney says oral but the childrens services says penetration. I would like to know the correct definition

Re: Sexual Battery

Sexual battery requires proof of sexual conduct which is defined as "vaginal intercourse between a male and female; anal intercourse, fellatio, and cunnilingus between persons regardless of sex; and, without privilege to do so, the insertion, however slight, of any part of the body or any instrument, apparatus, or other object into the vaginal or anal cavity of another. Penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete vaginal or anal intercourse."
