Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
im sittin in an suv in front of friends house police pull behind ask me out the car ask questions about a robbery in the area i didnt know anything took my name and ssn ask me to sit while he runs a check the others leave cause the radio said the found the suspects my check came back ok then he searched the suv and found crack in the back somewhere told me i was going to jail cause i was in the car is this legal

I question why the officer had a right to search your car. Your attorney should be researching that issue to see whether it is appropriate to file a motion to suppress the drugs.
