Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

my son is facing charges two accounts of agg robbery and a gun spec. they want us to plea bargin to 3years with poss judicial release. the thing is this whole thing is small kid stuff where the so called victims made up a big lie and got my son and nephew arrested and now they have to stick with there story to keep there selfs from getting in trouble. My son never had a gun or robbed these boys futher more every minute i talk to the court appoint lawery the witness stories change up. they told us if we dont take plea bargin he could face 23 years in jail. If my son goes to jail all my believe in this system is over. its people out there really robbing people and to only have statements from the so call vitims my son could spend hard time in jail . i really need advice on should he take this plea or go to trial so scared

I strongly suggest you HIRE an attorney and an investigator to fully prepare for a trial. A thorough investigation could lead to a better plea deal or even a dismissal if the facts are as you claim. I understand that you might not be able to afford an attorney, but if the situation is as you say, is there any amount of money that is not worth keeping your son out of prison?
