Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
My son had three separate charges for drug possession after his last violation he got 32 months. Can they change the sentence from concurrent to consecutive after initial court date.

If he's been sentenced, the Court cannot change the sentence making it worse. If he hasn't been sentenced on one of the charges, it opens the door to that possibility of consecutive time. Drug offenses usually don't get consecutive sentences. Feel free to call me directly.
