Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Statute of Limitations on Passing Bad Checks
Hello,
My brother passed bad checks in Ohio, he went to court and was given a suspended sentence, restitution, and community service. He has never done anything he was ordered by the court. What is the statute of limitations on this? Thankyou and have a great one!

Re: Statute of Limitations on Passing Bad Checks
I would not be so concerned about the statute of limitations as I would about having the jail time imposed. He may have a warrant against him.
He should contact the clerk of courts to see if there is a warrant outstanding.
