Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
my step son took my car while i was sleeping and commited a felony the sheriff came over asked to search my car i agreed he looked at it then said they may sieze it he took the car i never allow him to use it because he doesnt drive can i really loose my car because of this?

See Ohio Revised Code section 4503.235. It's easy to find on the internet. Waiver of forfeiture can be granted "for a family or household member".
It would be a very good idea to hire a lawyer who knows the court system to get this done for you.
