Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Stolen & bad checks
I forged a check to a credit card account belonging to my mother over 10 years ago. We had since made up and I have been making amends. Can I still be procecuted for it? I also had NSF checks during that time. I have turned my life around and I do not want this to ruin my future. Is there a statue of limitations?

Re: Stolen & bad checks
You should be in the clear. The statute of limitations for a felony theft charge is six years.
