Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Stolen Property
I attendeded a graduation party. I was asked by the hostess to bring compact discs to the party, so I did. Another female attended this party, and upon her arrival she did not have any cds with her. This individual was seen taking my cds by multiple people. This would not be that big of a deal to me, however, she took approx. $70 worth of cds, and I have a past with her. On the first day of the 2004-2005 school year, this same female who stole my property to my face threatened to ''Kick my ass.'' The school was notified and did nothing about this. This individual has also came at me in the past, acting liek she was going to pick a phsyical fight. I would like to pursue this if there is any possible way. I would just talk to her mother, but she in an unreasonable woman, and thinks that her daughter can do no wrong. Please write back, or e-mail me back with any options I have, as soon as it is convienient for you. Thank you very much.

Re: Stolen Property
You can go to the police to ask for a protective order if she threatened you, plus you can sue her for your losses (CD's) in small claims court.
