i was in a store i took some stuff it came out to 25.00 worth of stuff i been depress found out my daughter has cancer and is not doing well so havent beent thinking right i have never stold nothing in my life i am 41 years old what can happen to me i am so scared what can happen to me or what should i do

This is a misdemeanor 1, theft. It can be punishable by six months in jail and a $1000 fine plus court costs. You should hire a lawyer to advocate for you.
