Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Taking a vehicle and keeping it
my husband left with my car on March 26 and he was going to Ohio and coming back the same day. But now he won't bring my car back and I'm without a vehicle. Is there anything I can do?

Re: Taking a vehicle and keeping it
Your best, and cheapest, initial step would be to go to the County Attorney's office, explain what has happened, and ask if they will issue a warrant for Theft by Failing to Make Required Disposition. They may refuse to do so, contending it is a civil matter, but there is no cost to ask and it may work. Good luck.
