Theft by deception
i was needing to know if your renting an item from a rental place and the product gets stolen would i still be resposible for paying for that item even though it doesn't say anything in the contract about that?

yes more than likely you are responsible. If you have homeowners insurance it would be a covered loss. Be sure to make a police report for the insurance company
