Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
thin skull doctrine
The thin skull doctrine applies to civil cases, is there an equivalent (in regards to finding of guilt, as well as the level of severity of an offense with which an offender is charged and thereby accordingly sentenced) in criminal law?

Re: thin skull doctrine
I don't quite understand your question. For every crime or type of crime, there are different degrees of culpability, upon which, at least theoretically, one's punishment should be based. I'm not sure if that's analogous to the thin skull doctrine, other than to the extent generally that one should get what one deserves.
