Time limit for speedy trial
In the state of Ohio, on a felony case, what is the time limit for a speedy trial and does the clock start from charge in municipal court or once indicted thru common pleas?

Re: Time limit for speedy trial
Generally, trial must be held within 270 days, and each day in custody counts as 3 days, so if in jail the trial must be held within 90 days. The time starts upon the initial arrest or service of summons.
