first time offender case i was told that a felony would come my record or would not beheld agaist me for job hire after 3 year from the date i got off probation

In Ohio a person convicted of some felonies can apply for expungment (sealing of the record) so that it does not appear on any. Background search by a non governmental searcher. The person has to wait 3 yeears after the punishment phase of the case (including any time spent on parole or probation) is over though.
