As with any serious criminal charge, the best thing you can do is get an attorney to represent you. A criminal defense attorney will negotiate on your behalf with the prosecutor to get the charges reduced. Without knowing the facts of the charge, your criminal history, the court involved and many other factors, I cannot give you a more definitive answer. Give me a call if you'd like to discuss in more detail: 216-592-8573. Thank you and good luck.
