Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
I got in trouble with shoplifting over a year ago my case was dismissed and charges dropped I'm apply for new job and they do background checks so I looked on the courts website for there records search and nothing came up for my case number and name will anything come up in my background check?

Probably not, unless your impending job requires some very high level security clearance. We still live with the "innocent until proven guilty" doctrine. Further, since the charge was dismissed you need not disclose the arrest on any job application.
