Unlawful sex with a minor

My younger twin daughter told my wife and I that my older son (then was 18) came home drunk and layed on her (8 then) and pump her but didn't take her pants down. That was all that we were told. She never demonstrate and problem or mood change. She was always happy to be around her brother and never showed that she hated to be around him. We talked to my son and asked him what happen and he deny that nothing happen. Now, my daughter was talking to the school child philosophy and she told her that my son did more, and that we know it happen. She talked to her for about 2 mt. and nothing was told to us what happen until a day before the session was done. When we were called, we went to the school to fine out what happen. We were told that the Child and Family service will be called. We did get a call and now they want to have a meeting and for her to have an examination. We were also told that my wife and I could go to jail for child endangerment. Is this true? Do we have any rights if any, and could we lose our children? We need Help!

this is the beginning of some kind of case against you, but the chances of losing your children are still remote....the agency will have to find out what you knew and what you did....you can cooperate with them but you should do so with full knowledge that everything you say will be held against you....be very careful!
