Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Unlawfully arrested for shoplifting
I believe I was unlawfully arrested for
shoplifting. I purchased a product at a
local Walmart and refused to show my
receipt. I was physically detained and
the police came and put me in
handcuffs.

If showing the reciept would have stopped them from detaining you, then I don't think you have a good case. Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions. Best regards, Edward DiCato
