Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

I have found out that a website I viewed and subscribed to for a month had underage content even though it stated everything was 18+. The website is now being investigated by the FBI so I want to know if I should come forward now or what should I do?

Re: Viewed an inappropriate website

This can be a very difficult issue to address. On the one hand, by coming forward now you will show the FBI that you had no intent to view minors displayed in sexual acts; on the other hand, you would also clearly identify yourself as a person who did access illegal web content.

Before you do anything like contacting the FBI, you should hire an experienced criminal defense attorney to advise you. When you meet with that person be prepared to provide detailed information regarding your subscription, the promises that were made regarding the age of the people on the site, and why you now believe that the site displayed illegal content.

Under no circumstance should you talk to the FBI about these issues without an attorney present.
