Do I have to give my permission to be able to wear a wire tap on my body to gather evidence against a suspected criminal?

The question asks whether you must consent to wearing a wiretap on your own body in order to try to record statements by a suspected criminal. The short answer is yes. If law enforcement is asking you to wear a wire so that you can record statements by a suspected criminal, I would think that you would want your own attonrey involved to make sure that you are not the target of an investigation.
