Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
ok, x was charged with assaulting his mother. The police took a statement from his mother and took pictures. She has decided to not show up in court. Will the judge throw the case out?

Not necessarily. The prosecutor could subpoena her and if she does not come to court, the judge could have the police/ sherriff pick her up and bring her to court. Could also charge her with contempt.
