Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Can we try him again?
For years her father sexually and physically abused her. Her condition was found out by local police, she was sent away, adopted, and they tried him for the crimes. She was terrified of her father, and did not testify, resulting in lack of evidence and him getting off. she now wants to see him in jail. i need to know if he can be tried again.

if there is anything he did that he was never charged for, new charges can be filed....
if he didnt go actually to trial, with a jury standing in the room, then the old charges may very well be able to be re-filed...
