Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Ohio
Is this legal
The place I work at has 3 employees, clerk, super and the asst. to the super. The asst. to the super has always been a male until now. The asst and the super Always worked together on everything, even down to cleaning things. Now the super goes off to do work and leaves me behind. He will state to people outside the company that I am lazy and dont do work and I dont know how to do anything(is this allowed I am a public employee). I have been been with the company for two years and we used to do all the work together up until a couple of months ago. There has never been a problem before with my work. I also get questioned by the boss about my time worked and the super nevers does. The past asst. never got questioned about his time or got left behind when the super. went to do work. I guess my problem is that I have brought up things with my bosses and they acknowlege that the super is not doing things right and that the past asst. did not get treated like I am being treated but they do nothing about it(is this allowed). I know the best thing to do is leave and I have been trying but I think when people call the super he gives me a bad refference(is this allowed). I dont want to leave. I just want to be treated fair.

Since you are a public employee you are represented by a union. They can help you put something in writing. You need to put something in writing.
