My son age 24 received a DUI - Field breathalizer .113 if he pleads not guilty can he get a court appointed attorney - he cannot afford an attorney. He has never had any other convictions.

With that kind of reading, your son should DEFINITELY HIRE AN ATTORNEY or have one appointed for him if he made less than 15,000 last year.
He should DEFINTELY NOT take a DUI in that case. It is too close to being legal - his attorney should be asking for a lowering of the charge.

If your son meets the income guidelines he is entitled to court appointed counsel.
