Legal Question in DUI Law in Ohio

Dui

39 yr old divorced female, NO priors, she blew a .229. Would an attorney help in this situation. She does work and has shared parenting of two teenagers.

I agree with Mr. Hess. A reading this high will result in more severe penalties. An attorney should be able to bring out any mitigating circumstances and also confirm that the reading is accurate.

There may be some legal defenses that could be raised and you may have an option to plead to a lesser charge. In any event, this is a very serious matter and an attorney should be able to provide a substantial benefit.

Absolutely! That is a very high BAC which could increase penalties. She should consider an alcohol assessment for court purposes prior to her court date.
