dont seem right
ok last nite i had a party at my home in the country.was riding around my property and went into my trash pit..a girl was in the truck hit her head on the windshield.. she left walking down the road an we kept on partying.well about an hour to a hour and a half a cop showed up asked what happened and i told him.i was following him around and he told me 2 go back 2 my party and i did..I was drinking when he came and while he was here he was here.30 min later he asked me 2 take some tests..i refused he aressted me for dui..now since i was drinking after the the fact of putting my truck in my own hole and he told me to go party can they do this??????i think they have no case but im not a lawyer..dwi was the only charge

It is illegal in Ohio to operate or be in control of a vehicle while under the influence. If you had more to drink between the time the police first talked to you and when you were arrested it may be difficult for the police to prove tht you were under the influence at the time of the accident. You should get an attorney to help you on this one. The consequencs of a conviction for Operating impaired are pretty severe.

I read another attorney's advice and I agree. Very serious charge, and one that you will have to convince first, the Prosecutor, and if that doesn't work, convince the Jury that you were not DUI.....Will require an attorney to get you out of this....
