Legal Question in DUI Law in Ohio

Underage drinking away from home

I am a 20 year old OU student and I

have been charged with underage

drinking and possession. I was given a

breathalizer test along with my three

friends. We were not driving or in a

vehicle, we were camping. We we away

from home in Hocking county and we

have a court date for next week. Is there

anything I need to do to prepare that

would help me out when I appear in

court, especially since we do not live in

the area. Do I need a lawyer? ~Thanks

Remember if you don't make much money, you will always be afforded a lawyer for free. You can ask for one once your case is called, but before that you need to figure out if the court you're in has a diversion program. If so, you would do something for the court (some alcohol class or something) and then they dismiss the case...worth looking into.
