Legal Question in Education Law in Ohio
Hello My name is Andrew and I just have a quick question. At my public middle School my teachers say that if they find out via the internet that you were on a Social Networking site past eleven oclock at night that they will give you a detention. I just wanted to know is that legal?

In ohio The law requires the student handbook set out In writing what is and is not against the rules for students. So if your student handbook outlaws students being on social networks past 11 pm then they would have the right to punish you.
