Durable power of attorney
Am i financially responsible for my father's outstanding bills if he has been recently placed in a nursing home, due to my stepmom's sudden death? I just filed a durable power of attorney and i'm concerned that i will loose everything i have if i have to claim all his debt.

I am not suire exactly what you have filed or done, but generally you would not be responsile for his debts.
