fathers house
my father put his house in my name with life estate in 2002. He was in a nursing home from oct. 2006 til Nov. 2007 when he passed away. He had no other assest, can medicaid now take his house after he put it in my name.

It depends on your father's intent in transfering the house, whether you as owner are now living there asyour permanent place of residence,and whether the transfer occurred after 36 months of your father's filing for Medicaid assistance.
