Is there anyway a home can be kept if they go into nursing home.
If my mother rents her home out can they use the rent for payments at nursing home or will they make her sell the home?

There are many ways to protect a home from a Medicaid spend down. A lot depends on if your mother is married or single and if she already in a nursing home or not. If she is not curently in a facility, there are several different deeds to protect property from a nursing home spend down.
