medicare / medicade
A son and mother lived and own a house together in Ohio. Mother got ill and was places in a nursing home and she may never leave. Mothers insurance ran out and she must go on medicare/medicade. House value around $185,000. Will the son have to sell the house?

The answer will depend on a multitude of factors. I suggest obtaining the counsel of an Elder Law attorney before any application for Medicaid is made or many options will be lost.
