unpaid medical bills after parents death
my father recently passed away. He has some unpaid medical bills. Who is responsible for these bills now. my mother is still living, but her name is not on any of his medical bills. She is joint on the credit card bill, so I'm assuming she is responsible for it. After her death, she's 91, who is responsible for the credit card bill. There is no estate.

From what you are indicating, I don't believe anyone is legally responsibl;e for your father's bills. If your mother is joint on a credit card, then she will be responsible for that credit card bill. Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions. Best regards, Edward DiCato
