Is there a 12 month separation requirement prior to filing for divorce in Butler County, Ohio?

No. In Ohio you have to have grounds before you file for a divorce. The most common ground is incompatibility i.e. you and your spouse do not get along. However, another ground is that both of you have been living separate and apart for more than one year.
