Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

My 18 year old daughter is pregnant and wanting to give the child up for adoption. My husband and I would like to adopt him. What kind of process is this and what kind of fees should we expect. The baby is due in May.

Both parents would need to relinquish parental rights. Yours would be a 'relative adoption.' You would go through the same procedure as any adoption, but perhaps not as formal. The cost includes agency fees plus attorney fees. You would need to inquire with your county agency for fees and with attorneys you approach for their fees.
