Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

My 12 year old son has been wanting to come live with me for some time now and I'm wondering if there is and age that the child is allowed to decide where he/she wants to live. An what would my first steps be to get this in motion.

Not really because maturity levels have changed. At one time 14 was considered a decision-making age. A motion with the court could be made, but more than likely a guardian ad litem would be appointed to interview the child, another expert, or the judge may do so.
