Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

My 3 yr old son broke the child safety lock on the door and escaped in the morning while we were sleeping. He had never done this before. We are now being charged with child endangerment and not sure whether to plea Not Guilty or No Contest. This was not a result of our negative actions, just a determined little boy. Please help. Court date is Tuesday.

You will want to plead not guilty and get an attorney. If you can't afford one you should tell that to the court and they will tell you how to go about getting a public defender. Child endangerment is a serious charge and Children's Services can sweep in and take the children from you if you are not careful.
