absent fatther returns and wants visitation rights

my 5 year old daughters father has returned after being absent for 2-3 years first let me say we were never married and do not have visitation set thru the court I agreed to let him see her he visits her once a week for a few months now he now wants to take her for the weekends but my daughter is not comfortable with him yet he plans on taking me to court so he can accomplish this is there anything i can do to prevent him from getting her overnight since she is not comfortable with him he is currently behind on child support by $5000 and is on unemployment.he is still married but living with another woman who has 4 children and is not yet divorced herself and pregnant with his child.

You need to go to juv. court, and ask for the court to appoint a guardian ad litem to represent the child's interests, and testify as to the actual relationship Dad has with the child. It would be nice to get the child into some sort of therapy so you can show that the child is not ready for an increased relationship.
