Age

If a child is 16 years of age, lived with Grandparents on a Power of Attorney for 1 school year and has decided she would like to stay longer, can she make this decision or what should be done for her to see this happen?

If the grandparents want to apply for legal guardianship of her, they can file in their county's probate court, and she can make a binding consent to their guardianship because she is age 14 or older.
