Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
alimony in divorce
a wife and her attorney file for tempory alimony, the magistrate says the husband is to pay a certain amount and start paying in 4 months, the order is signed by the magistrate and the judge, two months later the wifes attorney complains to the husbands attorney about the starting date and says he is going to do something about it and he goes to the magistrate without the husbands attorney knowing and the magistrate issues a new order stating ther alimony starts now and also the husband has to pay the last two months in arrears, my question is is this legal to be changed as it was and does the wifes attorney need to file a motion of some kind to go to the magistrate to then have the order changed so the husband and his attorney is aware? I did file an appeal but was turned down as the magistrate states he made an error in the date but to bad the husband still has to pay the arrears

Something seems strange about this situation. Please email me the complete list of facts in chronological order if you would like a free consultation. But, it definitely sounds like you need a lawyer to intervene, unless you want to pay the extra payments
