assets
I have not yet filed for divorce. I have one child. If I sell my 3 cars to my parents for a nominal fee before I file(owned in my name only), will they be considered in determining my assets?

yes, they will be considered in the pool of assets. One of the questions that the court asks is whether or not any assets were sold for less than market value in the past year. Further, dont you think that your soon to be ex will know about the cars!!!
