Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

I Can't See My Baby

My ex boyfriend has custody of our 10 year old daughter.

I have visitation, but for the past 2 years he has not let me see or even speak with her on the phone. Recently he even blocked my number so I can't call. When I lived in Ohio (where he resides) I filed a motion, actually, several motions, for the court to find him in contempt, but nothing ever comes of it. I am not an abusive or neglectful mother, I love our daughter very much. The courts say I have the right to visitation, but what can I do? Also,I now live in Colorado.

Re: I Can't See My Baby

File a Motion to Show Cause in Ohio. If you sit on your rights, you will lose your rights. Steve.

Follow up on your earlier motions, and file another one. Delay can be costly. Send me a case number, and I will find out what I can. E-mail for more help.
