Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
My boyfriend's ex has gotten a temporary CPO against me in the kids names, so I can't be around them of course... I can't be at his house period when he has them. They have shared custody, he gets them every other week. Anyway, her reasons for getting the CPO are that I "taunt her daughter, provoke her (the ex), and I go to therapy." None of it is true! In reality, the ex is the one who harasses me. she has followed me all around town, accused me of things I haven't done or said, and has threatened to physically harm me. I'm the second girl in my boyfriend's life that she has done this to. I feel she is only doing it to get me out of his life. What can I do to prevent her from getting a permanent protection order?

I would sue her for defamation. If you have proof that she is saying these things and that they are untrue then you have a good claim. I would be happy to assist you in this process. I actually have a lot of experience in this area.
